About Us

Our Background

LIWA was established in June 2010 by the Private sector, Government and Academia after a realization of the great need for a sustainable entity that can coordinate and facilitate linkages between Industry and Academia and that can engage government on the same.

Vision

To facilitate the effective linkage of industry, academia and government for the realization of Vision 2030 & the Millennium Development Goals (MDG'S).

Mission

LIWA aims to provide the necessary information and guidance on the key stakeholders in industry, academia and government, and to provide a roadmap on how a synergetic framework of interaction between the three bodies can be achieved.

LIWA seeks to strengthen the level and quality of:
